Reputation and experience

It is stressed out that prior to choosing a supplier; you need to look upon his reputation and experience.

Quality

It is necessary that the products offered are standardized equipment with proper warranty. Reliable dealers offer extended warranty options for re certified equipment.

Service contracts and post-sales support

The supplier should offer proper service contracts and excellent post-sales support, including in-house service options, on time material service visits.

Online purchase option

Reputable suppliers maintain online stores that facilitate product selection from a wide range of brands, comparison of features, technical specifications and prices. They would also offer convenient options for placing orders.

Competitive pricing

Finding a supplier that offers both new and re certified equipment at competitive prices is essential.

This is absolutely correct. I always check for any shop or stuff on line before I want to buy it. Even more, if I'm in the store, I check the scan codes using my smart phone to get the real price and customer reports. Applause It works just fine. Pretty often I can order the same item on line using my smart phone and get it in my house a few days later, and sometimes it's much cheaper than in the store.

I'm sure no one will buy anything with no warranty, at least here in the USA. :) Missing warranty is always strange and suspicious. Although sometimes you can buy a stuff from so called grey market. For example, if you go to bhphotovideo.com they honestly tell on the web site that this is USA and this is Imported. Sometimes warranty is different and if you buy these items you need to be careful and think what you do.

If I buy anything serious I always buy a service contract and extended warranty. Maybe it's my personal rule, but it seriously saved my wallet one day when transmission in my Honda died. It was factory problem, but if I had no warranty... then I could easily lose a few thousands. No kidding!

Many people already have their own lists of online store they visit on a regular basis. I always did have this list too. But nowadays you can simply use your smartphone to get a better deal, better price, better item, get a price match, etc. You can always get customer reviews and these opinions are often very critical before you make your purchase. Everything dramatically changes every day.

That's exactly I wrote about - having a smart phone you can use many tricks to get a much better deal and even avoid purchase of a bad item to keep your time, energy and money.
